F2L Multineck System :

The F2L Multineck system is characterised by modular con-nections between the neck and the stem.It is possible to choose intraoperatively the most appro-priate neck geometry in terms of lenght (thanks also to the choice of the femoral head size),angula-tion and CCD-angle.

The geometry of the femoral neck can be established thanks to a series of modular necks which are engaged to the stem through a Morse Taper connection.

The modular necks are made in three verisions;straight,lateri-zed and anteverted, each version is avaible in two diffrent lenghts.

Using the straight neck a cervical diaphyseal angle of 135 is reached, whereas using the lateralized neck the cervical-diaphyseal angle of 125 and 145. In all cases, the prosthesis is symmetrical.

The anteverted neck is positioned so as to obtain an anteversion angle of 10 , resulting in an anatomical prosthesis in which the cervical-diaphyseal angle is 135.

The stems are manufactured from Ti6AI4V Titanium alloy.

They are avaible with double proximal surface coating in porous titanium and thin hydroxyapatite.

The modular necks ,with 12/14 taper ,are also manufactured from Ti6AI4V Titanium alloy
